STEP 1: Go to our ”A Simple Gesture” Event Manager to register. CLICK HERE. Once registered you will receive an email regarding the PickUp Date.
We have a very strict privacy policy because it’s very important we get your email, this is how we communicate and confirm the pickups. For this reason we absolutely promise not to use your email address for any other purpose than A Simple Gesture.
If you don‘t see the email check your spam folder. Add us to your emails contact list to prevent future email from going into spam.
STEP 2: When the email arrives click on the link taking you to the EVENT PAGE, and click “YES”, that you will have a bag for pickup. You can also just Log In to get to the same EVENT PAGE.
STEP 3: Take the bag we left on your doorstep and fill it with shelf-stable foods that have not reached their expiration date. Any food that has an extended shelf life (canned foods, dry goods, etc) is acceptable.
STEP 4: Set the bag outside on your doorstep. If you feel it’s useful, add extra information in your Profile Page to explain where the bag will be placed.
STEP 5: Keep an eye out for a couple more emails regarding the event. If you’ve already said “yes” you don’t need to do anything more.
We are in the planning stages for our fist event in Rhomert Park. We will be placing a brown paper bag with an attached pamphlet on 2000 doors in a RP neighborhood. They will have an QR code and a web address to sign up and register. We will then come back through that area and pick up the bags get our first area going. More info to be available soon!
